The 230g figure describes the fish-and-sauce pack, not a stated 230g of fish alone. When comparing products, check the cut, declared pack weight and what is included rather than assuming every pack is directly comparable.

Our own aquaculture farm connects your fillet to a traceable source

We source our seabass from our own myGAP-certified aquaculture farm, with production fully monitored and traceable rather than an unidentified supply source.

Our farm location allows us to use a mixture of seawater and freshwater. We use these farming conditions to help avoid the muddy smell that can put customers off farmed fish. For your purchase, the important distinction is that we can identify where our fish is raised and how it moves through production.

1. Farm sourcing: Your seabass starts with our in-house aquaculture operation. The myGAP certification relates to our farm; it is distinct from the Halal certification of our prepared products.

3. Sauce selection: Our prepared range includes Ginger Garlic, Thai Lime, Kampong Curry, Black Pepper, Balinese, Asam Laksa and Sambal Seafood. You can vary the sauce without changing to a different fish format. ([mrseabass.com.my](https://www.mrseabass.com.my/))
4. Cold-chain dispatch: We pack the goods in a foam box with an ice bag, seal the parcel properly and use Ninja Cold for delivery. Coverage remains subject to the delivery address.
5. Preparation at home: For our sauce packs, the company’s preparation guidance is approximately 8–15 minutes, with steaming, air-frying or pan-searing among the options. Follow the instructions for your selected product and method rather than assuming every method takes exactly eight minutes.

Compare fillet prices by format, quantity and delivered total

For a home order, compare our 150g fillet and 230g sauce pack separately, then request the total for your chosen quantity and delivery address. We sell direct from our factory to retail consumers at ex-factory pricing; our average parcel order value of RM100 is a purchasing reference, not a published product price or minimum spend.

For Penang and Klang Valley, delivery is expected within 1–3 working days after dispatch. For other covered West Malaysia addresses, the expected window is 2–5 working days after dispatch. These are transit estimates, not a promise that the parcel will arrive within that period after you place an order.

Ask for the current delivered total before payment. That lets you compare the fish, included sauce where applicable and delivery together, without relying on an unsupported headline price.

Choose fillets for flexibility or sauce packs for less preparation

Choose our 150g fillet if controlling your own seasoning is the priority; choose our 230g 8-Minute Seabass with Sauce if having the gravy included is more useful. Both choices fit a home-cooking purchase, but neither is automatically the better value until you consider what you want included.

If you are cooking a shared meal for three to four people, we also recommend our cleaned Easy Cook Whole Seabass in a butterfly cut. It is a different format, with approximately 10–30 minutes of preparation, so consider the whole-seabass family option rather than assuming one individual sauce pack is a family meal.
